Yep, that is not a typo. This a huge value!

If you are thinking:

Those are valid concerns and I am happy to address them:

“How do I know if my child needs this?”

If your child is between ages 5-7, now is the perfect time to set them up for long-term reading success. Research shows these early years are critical for intervention, as the brain is highly adaptable. Whether your child needs more frequent lessons, deeper instruction, or isn’t receiving structured literacy at school, this program will help build a strong literacy foundation.

“I don’t have time for this.”

The Simple Literacy Academy is a time commitment—approximately 1 1/2 - 2 hours a week. The great thing is, that the lessons follow the same format, making them faster over time. Plus, they’re explicitly taught by me, meaning you or another adult (grandparent, babysitter, etc.) just need to supervise to ensure the work is done with fidelity. After a few lessons, it becomes second nature for the students, and many parents report lessons are completed in 45 minutes once the routine is established.

“This seems like a lot of work.”

The structured format helps students get into a rhythm after the first few lessons. As previous parents have shared, by the 3rd or 4th lesson, students quickly learn the process, and the lessons become more efficient.

“Why should I trust Ashley?”

I’ve seen too many children struggle with reading and writing unnecessarily. Research shows that 95% of children can learn to read and write with the right methods—structured literacy based on the science of reading—that’s what I provide at Simple Literacy Academy; but at an affordable price and flexible schedule. Private tutoring can be very costly and often comes with scheduling conflicts. My commitment at Simple Literacy Academy is to give you an affordable effective full-service experience, supported by the feedback of many satisfied parents.

Stop the Guessing Game: Easy Blending Strategies Every Parent Needs
Does your child get frustrated when trying to sound out words? Without the right blending techniques, they may be relying on guessing or using pictures to "read." While guessing or looking at pictures might seem to wor...
